Digital Camera Olympus Stylus 1 , SPEC , 12 MP

The Olympus Stylus 1 ($699.99 direct)$699.00 at Amazonhas the look and feel of a top-end camera, and despite not being an interchangable lens camera with a huge image sensor, it is one. It is styled like the excellent Olympus OM-D E-M5$899.00 at Amazon, sharing the same EVF and titling touch-screen LCD. At its heart is a 12-megapixel 1/1.7-inch image sensor, larger than those found in most long zoom cameras, and the integrated 28-300mm f/2.8 lens covers an impressive focal range at a constant aperture. It's a solid performer, and even though its zoom lens doesn't cover as long of a range as our previous favorite, the 24x Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200$429.95 at Amazon

Digital Camera Olympus OM-D E-M1 , Super High Zoom

The Olympus OM-D E-M5$899.00 at Amazon knocked our socks off when we reviewed it last year, to the point where we wondered if Olympus could do any better. The OM-D E-M1 ($1,399.99 direct, body only) is what the company came up with, and the improvements include a larger, sharper EVF, built-in Wi-Fi, an improved control layout, a deeper handgrip, and faster focus speed with legacy Four Thirds SLR lenses—and that's just scratching the surface. Like the E-M5, which is supplemented by this new model rather than replaced,

Digital Camera Olympus Tough TG-2 iHS, SPEC

When we reviewed the Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS$450.00 at Amazon last year we found it to be one of the best rugged cameras on the market. It was a compact shooter with a fast lens that could shoot deep underwater, and survive drops, pressure, and extreme temperatures—and it took great photos in all types of light. It wasn't perfect; while the lens was sharp in the center

Digital Camera Canon PowerShot SX280 HS Professional Compact,

The good: The Canon PowerShot SX280 HS has shooting modes for every type of photographer from casual to advanced; a useful long zoom lens with excellent image stabilization; and overall excellent photo and video quality for a compact megazoom.
The bad: Battery life is short, especially if you use the Wi-Fi and GPS features or movie capture. The flash isn't in a great location, and there are no easy panorama or HDR shooting options.
The bottom line: Wi-Fi connectivity and a new processor help make Canon's PowerShot SX280 HS one of the top compact megazooms available. But you'd better load up on batteries.

Digital Camera Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS , Compact

The Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS ($179.99 direct)$129.00 at Amazon is one of the best compact cameras that you can buy for under $200. It's easy for anyone to use, has a generous 10x zoom range, and allows you to share photos via built-in Wi-Fi. Most importantly, the images it captures are sharp and the 12-megapixel CMOS sensor lets you shoot at ISO 1600 without introducing too much noise into photos. It's not perfect—the 1080p video frame rate is locked at 24fps

Digital Camera Canon EOS 6D Professional Compact,

Prior to the announcement of the Canon EOS 6D ($2,099 direct, body only)Best Price at Amazon and the Nikon D600 $1,649.00 at Amazon, shooters who wanted a full-frame camera—one with an image sensor the same size as a 35mm film frame—were faced with a small number of choices at $3,000 and up. Both companies cut about $1,000 off the price of entry to full-frame with new models that sacrifice some features that pro shooters are used to

Digital Camera Fujifilm X100S Specs

The Fujifilm X100S ($1,299.95 list)$1,299.00 at Amazon is the follow-up to Fuji's groundbreaking X100 digital camera. Like its predecessor it features a retro design that makes it look more like a 1960s-era Leica than a modern digital camera, a hybrid viewfinder system that can toggle between a big, bright optical view and an EVF, and a fast f/2 lens with a 35mm (full-frame equivalent) field of view. The sensor has been upgraded to a 16-megapixel X-Trans CMOS design that is capable of producing some
